Extended family sessions are nothing short exciting. Cousins playing, are one of my favorite things to capture! I personally remember how special it was to grow up with cousins so close by. We had a beautiful evening to look for grasshoppers in the tall grasses and ended up with some great memories for Grandma to remember forever!

Convenience was top priority for Grandma but we are so lucky we have such beautiful parks in the Denver area with easy accessibility. Aside from encouraging playfulness and fun, I am also efficient with these larger groups! I know everyone together can be a lot but it’s rather simple to get the large group shots pretty quick!

The best part? You also will be able to get some photos of your nuclear family as well!

I used a combination of my Canon Mark IV 5d and my Pentax 645 with Kodak Portra 400 film.
