I think my new favorite gift for the grandparents in our life, is to gift them a session with their grandkids! This session was extra special because I was able to take these images on the beach I grew up visiting every summer and where my mom and grew up. My husband knew how important this spot was for me and actually proposed to me here on this beach almost 8 years ago! Lots of pretty awesome memories here. I feel so grateful my mom introduced me to this deep love and appreciation for the ocean.

What made it extra special, is that my kiddos aunt was also on this trip and the kids got to get some special images with their awesome aunt as well!

Images are a combination of Kodak Portra 160 taken on my 35mm Canon ae-1 (my fave camera to travel with) as well as digital images taken on a Canon EOS 5D Mark IV. The Archetype Process – fujifilm pro pack was used to match digitals to the film.
